Morris Pools began humbly in the back storage room of a two-bedroom apartment, driven by necessity and determination. With a college degree newly completed and a second child on the way, the founders initially saw pool cleaning as a temporary way to support their growing family. However, they soon discovered a passion for the work, excelling not only in pool cleaning but also in repairs. Over time, their expertise in water management, hydraulics, and schematics deepened.
What started as a “one person, one pole, one truck” operation grew into a successful, multi-employee business offering comprehensive services—from weekly maintenance and repairs to full-scale remodels and start-to-finish construction, including design and engineering. Morris Pools was living the American entrepreneurial dream.
However, tragedy struck on April 19, 2019, when the owners’ three-year-old daughter, Lillian, accidentally drowned in a temporary above-ground pool. The family’s world was shattered. Pools, once symbols of joy and relaxation, became reminders of an unimaginable loss.
After months of grief and reflection, the family made the difficult decision to continue their business with a renewed purpose. They resolved to channel their pain into a mission to help other families create joyful memories while ensuring safety and care in every project.
With their renewed focus and energy, Morris Pools reentered the industry, committed to being the best in their field. Their mission now is to create safe, beautiful spaces where families can build memories that last a lifetime.
