Designed for those seeking tranquility, the adult-only pool, Allure, at the recently opened Willow’s Hotel & Spa at Viejas, is a saltwater oasis.
As design architect for the Willows Hotel & Spa, IGroup Design was responsible for designing the exterior and interior, as well as the procurement for the 159-room hotel, full-service day spa, pool bar, coffee shop, two restaurants, and casino expansion.
The design evolved the architecture in a honed approach–revealing a sophisticated connection to the natural elements in a clean, elegantly detailed expression. The spa portion of the project informed the refinement of raw features, blending rough, textured stone to an elegant smooth lightness.
The lobby extends the interior experience with views and a direct connection to the pool bar and other outdoor amenities. Resort amenities include a business center, coffee shop, fitness center, salt water pool, spa garden, salt sauna, steam room, salon, and outdoor spa treatment cabanas.
IGroup Design collectively has over 30 years of experience. “We had a vision to create an elevated design, one that will change the look and feel of a casino hotel by building an adults-only-boutique-luxury hotel and spa. As a team, we collaborated and created an oasis, the Willows Hotel & Spa,” comments Stephanie Lee, Lead Designer.
Willows Hotel & Spa is a part of Viejas Casino & Resort. It officially opened February 2018. The pool area will reopen for the 2019 season on March 29.
