Luxury Pools Announces the 2014 Pinnacle Awards Winners

The 2014 Pinnacle Awards Winners

Luxury Pools magazine is proud to announce the winners of the 2014 Pinnacle Awards. Only three companies merited the honor, earning the symbol that separates these craftsmen from all others. The pool designers and pool builders were judged by a distinguished panel of five industry experts who used the criteria of functionality, structural engineering and hydraulics, landscape architecture, and appearance. The honored projects truly exceed the general level of professionalism and creativity in the industry.

Contemporary Infinity-Edge Pool
Builder & Designer: Anthony & Sylvan Pools, Las Vegas, NV

There are many wonderful facets to this project, including a main pool that features a zero edge, infinity edge, and a cantilever. Additionally, the setting has a kitchen area with a reflection/wading pool, an 11-foot high waterwall, a Koi pond, and an infinity-edge spa that blends with the main pool and observation deck.

Glass-Tile Violin-Shaped Pool
Builder & Designer: Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools & Landscaping, Mahwah, NJ

This whimsical pool is a state-of-the-art masterpiece that has controls for the pool, spa, landscape, music, water features and lighting. Finished in glass tile, the pool features all of the details of an actual violin, including the jet-black glass tile spa that resembles a chinrest, right down to the tuning pegs and strings.

Glass-Tile Perimeter-Overflow Pool
Designer: Questar Pools and Spas, Inc., Escondido, CA

Superbly in sync with the property and the home’s architecture, this graceful pool features a perimeter overflow and Lautner edge. The spa overflows three of its sides while the fourth side is framed by a slightly offset fire element for added drama. Completely finished in glass tile, the pool also includes a custom-built automatic cover.
