When Gerry Waser started Almar Jackson Pools, Inc. in 1990, his vision was clear: “Hire the best craftsmen, control your costs, charge a fair price, and show up when you say you will. Most importantly, communicate with your customers and make sure they are satisfied.”
Today, Gerry’s daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Drew Nash, are bringing fresh new leadership to Almar Jackson as it continues to offer the integrity and outstanding customer service that has been its hallmark for decades.
Experts in technical builds, their team is focused on continuing education and innovation, always looking for exciting new ways to improve their build process and achieve new design and function elements. In addition to their attention to craftsmanship, they also focus on the usability factor of the pools they design and build. “We want to build pools people will enjoy and use,” says Drew.
Adds Kim, “At the start of our design process, we’ve learned how people will use the pool, what features they’d like to have, and their priorities. We aim to provide a pool that truly fits the owner’s lifestyle.”
One of the secrets of Almar Jackson Pool’s success is the family-like atmosphere that employees enjoy. “We’re not big on titles here,” says Drew. “We’ve got about 24 employees and some of them have been here for over 15 years.”
Drew has been working at the company for 20 years, starting when he was just 24. His background is in water mechanics, working on several large-scale water management projects on cruise ships and around landfill sites throughout the United States.
Kim was a well-known marketing and public relations professional on the Treasure Coast, making her the perfect person to talk to about your swimming pool needs and questions: she’ll listen to what YOU have to say.
The entire team at Almar Jackson Pools brings a wide variety of experience to their work, and continuing education is one of their top priorities, with the entire team traveling annually to participate in courses at the Florida Swimming Pool Association conference in Orlando.
The technical work involved in pool construction often requires a level of precision and engineering to achieve a perfect finished product that’s also functional. The award-winning team at Almar Jackson Pools prides itself on the work that no one ever sees, but that needs to be perfect if your pool will perform at peak level.
